The enitre boat was constructed of mahogany frames and all. The answer to your questions is yes and yes. There are still some areas that are painted wood, but most everything is glassed.

looks great doing a wonderful job. I understand if you don't answer but how much do you have into her? I would love to redo a classic one day if my Silverton sells before I die (I'm 38)
