You do start to get a feel for how she is gong to look now.
Man what a looker!,, take plenty of pictures of the splash!
She is coming along great. You are going truly proud of her.
She's a beautiful boat.
Very nice work and good decision to save this classic. You can't beat that classic style. Anyone can own a Clorox bottle. It takes dedication to restore something like this and in the end you own something very special.
Although the purists would disagree with the application of Okoume I think it was a good decision since it doesn't take away anything from the form of the vessel.
She looks nice and fair and will look great for years to come.
It may have been mentioned in a previous post but what are you using for paint.
What colors are you considering?
Thanks. The Okoume is on the sides only and is there to prevent plank lines from showing through the glass in years to come along with giving her a much farer appearance. The bottom is three layers of glass over plank. I think we are going will white topsides and aquamist on the hull, but there could be a last minue change to all white. She will be essentially a brand new boat when completed and completion is weeks away.
Captains Against Teak !!!! oppps did I say that??? so much more fun fishing than doing brightwork! I love teak by the way but not all over areas ... boat looks great ... shes going to need some good bubbly dumped all over her from bow to stern and a splash party..
a hull that is fair as fair can be.
fritz its looking great man, noticed ya kept the ladder to bridge on the inside, for GM Dot Mick. (nice) diesels all the way though. One hell of a project. Good Luck.
