    The Omie boats were well proportioned all around. The most amazing thing is that these boats were built in the 70s, ages ahead of their time. I do agree that some of the newer Carolina boats have strayed from their lines, not that thats a bad thing, I just prefer the well proportioned lines of the old Sportmen

    Brought that rig back from Isla to Wanchese last Spring, she rode just fine and it wasn't a kind sea either.

    The Richie's are a nice boat I think. There are a few out of Ocean City MD that you can pick out pretty easily. I fished on one and it was pretty nice.

    450 hp Cummins
    Hull was built by Gillikin Custom Boats
    11'8" Beam

    cruising around 25kts now, gonna tweak the prop and get a couple more hopefully...
