    Simrad Autopilot--Rudder Response Error Message

Any one have any suggestions as to the cause of this error? I have had the steering purged and all of the settings checked but whenever I cruise high speed I get a pretty consistent Rudder Response Error Message which causes the boat to go off course. This happens on both the Auto and Nav modes. I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks!

Sounds like a possible loose signal or ground wire if it only happens at cruise. Make sure you check the wires at the Junction Box....they use a box-style pressure plate connection and it may look like it's tight but may not be. I would loosen the signal wires...pull them out....inspect and then re-install. Perform the same procedure at the connection end on the rudder feedback device installed on your rams.

My unit is an AP35 with the J3000X Junction Box.
