    She has come home......

The "little" Bite Me that is, A few of you guys have been fishing with me long enough to remember my previous boat, it was a 30' Buddy Cannady Express.

Well after we sold her, she suffered some bad luck, falling off the jack stands in Isabelle.

Since then she has been around, and was currently in Wanchese getting redone.

Well the other morning in the coffee shop, Dancin Turtle that is,

    http://www.hatterasguide.com/lp/dancingturtle/

I ran into a fellow that asked me some questions about the builder of my old boat, well after a conversation, I drove to Wanchese and looked her over.

I tracked down the fellow that owned her and after some intense negotiations I bought her, then I told Natalie.

Jeremy and I brought her home to my yard today.

Don't know what I am gonna do with her, but I had the opportunity and I jumped.

One of the two greatest days in a boat owner life.

Here is what she looks like now:

Here is what she used to look like when I ran her.

I have got some work to do.

    WOW Jay,
she sure has changed a lot !!!

The last couple of pictures are what I remember, I'm glad you put them in there, I was doing a brain search trying to remember how she use to look............I rembered the tower and the yellow color though.
I'm sure it brought back some memories for you also. I am assuming you got a really good deal on her

    Good luck,
    Troy

    I feel

your pain for the work, but I understand the sentiment and you will bring her back to life. Like I said, "Some wood boats just have a soul."

    Good deal

I don't buy anything that is not a good deal.

Yes, things are tense around the house.

I had to call Natalie and work and tell her to be carefull pulling in the driveway that there was a 30' hull in her parking spot.

Congrats on finding her, very nice looking boat when you had her. What did it used to have for power? What do you plan to put in it? Looking forward to the updates when you get rolling on the work.
