Sea Key?
Anyone use Sea Key or anything like it? What are some other options?

I freelance on a boat that has a similar system. It's neat if you are an absentee owner. The system on the Viking calls the owner with an automated message every time someone turns on or off the alarm system. It tells him where access has been gained and what time it was disarmed/rearmed. If voltage drops below set level either ac/dc it calls him. If the high water alarms are triggered it calls also. He has sensors on all of the hatches bridge access and engine room door. Of course sometimes it malfunctions and calls him multiple times or over and over again about the same thing. Funny thing he is like most big boat owners and leaves a set of keys and alarm remote onboard the boat, accessible to anyone who jumps on and looks hard enough. Cool idea if your marina is not too secure.

You can also log online and see where your boat is and how fast it is moving. You can see the engine gauges (oil pressure, RPMS, etc) from online. Some have high water alerts also.

I'm sure you can have all the sensors you want installed but the price goes up along with the options. The question is do you really need to log on to see your gauges and nav info. You already have an EPIRB and sat phone to let everyone know when something goes wrong while running. Basic security is pretty cool but it is just another system that has to be maintained.
