Saltwater washdown Question

Can't figure out what is wrong with my Washdown Pump. It worked a week ago and no it doesn't. Was looking for any inline fuses, but can't find them. Anyone familiar with the wiring on a 29 regulator. The schematic for the manufacturer of shurflo pump are not the same as the boat is wired.
I am buying a new pump today but would really rather find find out if it is a cheaper and easier way to sovle the problem.

Before you buy, get a test meter and see if you have juice at the pump wires...if not, you blew a fuse or lost a ground...if you have power, then it is most likely the pump.

If you narrow it down to be at the pump, it may not be bad...there should be a pressure switch on the pump itself (it what turns the pump on/off when you demand water.) You might want to check that as well before buying a whole new pump.

also check the circuit breaker at the switch board. mine has a clear plastic to check if it has pick up any debris. check it out, if it gets clogged it will not work either.

this is the first thing to be done. but be aware that sometimes the meter says 12V, but the pump is good even if it doesn't run. I always run cables direct from the batteries to check stuff up to confirm what the meter says!

good luck!!!
