Rybovich Rendezvous III

Rick: We had a great time at Rendezvous II at Ocean Reef. The people were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was 'tip-top'. Everytime we see one of those 36-37ft day boats we realize what a 'right-size' boat they are. The 'Cubavich' they showed there was really a very nice piece as well. The workmanship was superb.

Any idea of what boats will be showing? We're usually in Central America on surfboards at that time of year -

Hi Mark. We are expecting at least six Rybos, including CORSAIR, CIRCE and PROUD LADY. The one most near and dear to my heart, hull #61, MARADEL, fresh off a multi year restoration, is expected as well. Pat will be having a Rybo owners and friends clambake dinner in the Boat Shed on Friday night. Everyone is welcome. I will post the details as soon as they become available. We are also looking into group rates at the Days Inn for our out of town guests.
If anyone has any questions or just wants to say hi, please do.
BTW the 37' Cubavich you referenced is TANGO. Her owner (Carlos) was kind enough to offer her services as camera boat for Pat Rybovich's book, ice cold Coronas included! I got to drive her quite a bit that week, she is a suh-weet ride.
Mark, your surfing plans notwithstanding, I hope to see you and all others interested in July!

A reminder to all interested. Rybovich is the featured Marque at this weekends Mystic Seaport, Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous. Five of Tommy Ryboviches best creations will be on display, open for close inspection by all attendees. If you have never been aboard a Rybovich, this is your chance! Pat Rybovich is orchestrating this event, which includes a lecture regarding her familys' legacy on Saturday.
If you are Rybovich aficianado, you know how rare it is to have five vintage Ryboviches converging at the same place/ time/ weekend, especially here in the Northeast. I implore you. If you are within driving, flying, gliding, walking distance, do not miss this event.
