i see the 40 ritchie intensity for sale again, just wondering if there is a problem with the boat? seems like a great boat. I can't decide between that and the 43 spencer.
just dreamin

T-Roy - give me a call and I'll fill you in. The long and short of it is the current owners of the 40' Express are looking for a bigger boat. Ritchie was just down there taking a look at the 40 for a perspective buyer to get an idea what work needed to be done to it if the prospective buyer pulled the trigger. I also had a good friend survey it in May so I am quite familiar with it as well.
The boat caught 8 Blue Marlin this year with a fairly new crew on it so it does raise the heck out of billfish.
Ritchie is also currently building two 42' Express boats. He just flipped the hull on the first boat yesterday and we just took a deposit and ordered the jig on the second 42' Express last week. That makes four boats under construction and we are feeling quite lucky to be so busy considering this economy. The 42' Express is very reasonably priced to so give me a call to discuss and I'll conference in Ritchie to let you know about hte 40' Express as well.

I look forward to your call.

the 40 intensity is a very good running boat and very fast. I fished on it for two years with old owner. It is rigged to the gills like a sixty footer. The current owner has a long history of buying and flipping boats. That was his intention with this boat which he bought while the old owner was building a new 58. This boat will cruise all day at 30 and hit 37, and can handle the sea.
