Ripped off by Uniden VHF Radio Company

Has anyone else on the site been ripped off by Uniden?

Called for service put on hold for over an hour and a half, sent an e-mail 3 weeks ago.

Brand new radio under warranty cannot get serviced!

No wonder no one carries their products anymore.

yep had the same issue with them last year. So we went and bought an icom.

Wait till something happens to your Garmin. less than a 100 hours on it and they didn't want to even try to fix it, I was told to buy a new one... Icom and Furno for me...

Standard Horizon has been awsome to me. I bought a used CP1000 from someone on a site and it was allitle beat up when I recieved it. I sent it out to them along with a phone call describing what I wanted fixed and was sent back pretty much a brand new unit. Awsome customer service!
