    Rewiring and general upgrades

Well once this damn snow melts and my supplies come in I am going to completely rewire everything and redo the dash/electronics areas. All new VDO gauges and switch panels, etc. Here some of pictures of the current disaster i call wiring. Also adding brand vhf's, new props, and a few other odds and ends. Last year she got brand new AGM batteries-best money i ever spent and crash pumps. Also going to install underwater LED's and a swim platform.

That looks like my 29 two years ago when we I repowered and rewired everything. Twenty years of adding wires nobody ever got rid of the old. Pulled four transducer cables that wer just cut and left in, just four starts.
    Good luck

They came down and did all the measurements Tuesday, waiting to here from him.

On the re-wire the worst thing we had was all the crossing of the neg 12v with the bonding system. Ended up pulling all of it and doing new. Not a bad job when the engines and tanks are out.
Ditto on the express its they are great boats,

I can only imagine the 27yrs of additions and upgrades have plenty of residual wire laying hidden. Everything is going, complete gut. Its a 2 bank system now and will be a 3 bank system plus an e-battery that isolated but can take over any bank if needed. Thanks for the comments about her, its a good little offshore rig that the previous setup for the canyon. The 340 gallons of fuel is a bit excessive but doesn't hurt to have extra and the new drivetrain leaves the most critical point covered. I will post pics as progress begins. Waiting on quotes for the new props. My next boat will be another phoenix.
