Try the 6.0 liter small blocks,same power and torque as the big blocks with less weight.

well right now the boat has marine power engines that are only 2 years old from the guy who owned the boat before us. They run pretty well but we would really prefer diesel. We found out through motor mounts breaking on us that the previous owner installed them wrong so that probably was having a big effect on fuel usage and performance... everything is being repaired now (done for the season ). we're getting new mounts, shafts, and possibly new seals and transmission work so we're expecting to see a huge difference next season... and we were wondering why those damn things vibrated so much
