Removing Oxidation

What is the best stuff to use to remove oxidation. It is just moderate but i want to try to get the glossy look back. The hull is great but the top deck does not look glossy any more. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Try 3M Finess-It with a high speed buffer/wool pad. It's a light compound and does not wear down the gel coat like rubbing compound will.

First use Collinite hull cleaner, then use the 3-M finesse-It II to get the best results. The collinite will remove any dirty and clean the hull and get ride of much of the oxidation, and the finesse-It II will remove swirls and embedded oxidation and really bring out the shine in the gelcoat. After, use a good wax to keep it shining and clean, I know many like 3-M waxes but I am a fan of a good hard carnaba wax, I've been using 4 Seasons Tree Wax for years with excellent results.

*Yes, the 3M products are nice, if you can get inside a better marine store....you will find several grades for treating oxidation- hmmm, can't see the labels now as I think.....but like OC & Grady said....check out the 3M brands- not sure what color your hull is....but be careful if you decide to use a power buffer if you have colored hull- you can burn perma-swirls on the darker hulls- change & clean the buffing wool often

Like Grady said......Trewax (look for an orange & turquoise colored wax tin container.....) I SWEAR BY TREWAX- 1 coat each year in spring; also do my truck with it
