Reman Outboard from 1Outboard

I am considering a purchase of a reman outboard from 1outboard in PA.

Anyone done business with them or can recomend any other outboard remanufacturers?

Do a search for A1 or Blackbird. Same company, they just change the name when the heat gets to hot.

Jay, he's right...There's a ton of stuff out there about them. They changed their name to OneOutboard but used to be A1 Outboard. If you look up A1 on google you will see how much everyone at THT likes them from bad experiences with remans...Look elsewhere

jay, im sure your gonna get alot of answers here, however, i brought my johnson 175 hp to them on a thursday morning , they tore it down in front of me had it rebuilt by 330 that day, never a hiccup from it , also bought a lower unit and operated fine. so yes i had a good experience with them but man have i read some horror stories. can we ask what your looking for. dave

I am looking for a 50hp 15" short shaft, the lighter the better. tiller Elec start with tilt and trim. I am planning on puting an outboard jet lower unit on it.

I really like the old evinrude 2 cylinders and the Yami 3 cyl.

2 strokes don't want no 4 stroke, for a jet you gotta spin it!

I always see a guy from Ashland va on Graigs list.I have not done any business with him but he has 12 month warranty (for what thats worth).His name is steve 804-357-6065,got the info from a post.Palmbeach outboards is another one.
