The 26 Regulator is one hell of a ride! The best riding boat in its class that I've ever been in. The Pursuit doesn't even compare. If you really wanna ride in style, the 29 Yellowfin is coming out early this spring.....
. As far as a CC vs. express, you have to consider what is important to you. A CC offers you the ability to fish 360 degrees and easy anchoring (if you bottom fish a lot). The express is a lot dryer and you have a place to lay your head at night if you want. A CC with full curtains (console enclosure and wings) is almost as dry as an express style. Not sure how much bigger you're wanting to go, but the 29 Regulator, 27T Contender, 31T Contender, 29 Yellowfin, and 32 Yellowfin are all SWEET rides!

Squid, i have a CC now Parker 25SE Made my own Curtains that work real well.

Heres the thing I love my parker, has been a great boat BUT I want to be able to fish more days!!!! and have a softer ride the parker just tends to pound in a moderet chop and that makes for a sore back and knees.
The problem is the wife has it in her head we need a boat with a down below. So i am working on that
And we have been looking we looked at the 33' Grady, a couple 32' Albemarles, Cabo 31, Topaz 36, World Cat 33, Regulator 29' and i work on lots of boats being in the canvas biz. so i get to see the layouts real well, but the RIDE is what i am most intrested in!
I'll check out the yellowfin.
We are just trying to find the best boat for our lifestyle.
We'll find the right one soon it will happen!!
What kind of rig are you running Squid?

Very nice looking curtains, sir! I do not currently have a boat of my own. As soon as I can afford one, you can bet on a Contender 23T to be sitting in my driveway. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to be able to fish on a lot of boats. One of the boats I charter fished several years ago was a 32' Albemarle. Over the 4 years I was on that boat, I never saw anything she wasn't comfortable in. This boat in particular wasn't a speed machine, but she would run 20-22 kts. in any kind of sea. The downside was that the bow rode very high and I had a hard time seeing over it since I'm on the short side (5'8"). From your list, I wouldn't even consider a Grady White. I've been on a bunch of them, and have never seen one that rode even half way decent.....even in a slick calm ocean. The Albemarle is going to be a very tough boat to beat if you're looking express......but also check out the 32' Carolina Classic. I have a friend that is trying to sell his (if he hasn't already) and it's a BEAST. It actually feels bigger than the Albemarle and is a bit faster. For the center consoles, Yellowfin is at the top of the food chain by far. If you've never been in one...do yourself a favor! I know a couple people with them that would be glad to give you a ride in them, and have a very good friend with a 32' Yellowfin on order for spring delivery. The ride, speed (I know that's probably not a big factor), fuel mileage, everything is head and shoulders beyond everyone. Like you said, though...it's what fits YOU the best. Everyone is different and has different needs. If you want to add another CC to the list, I know of a VERY nice 33' Palmetto Custom that may be for sale for a great deal...
