Arrow Guy's Don't discount the 36 " Beast" Cape Horn Offshore

No Question that the 36 ft Yellowfin is a Hell of a Boat ! But do " NOT " discount " The Beast " 2008 36 ft Cape Horn Offshore with a Pair of 350 hp OR Triple 350 hp( V8 ) Yamaha engine's !

    Invincible 33

I went with the Invincible 33 over all the boats aforementioned. Best combination of speed, efficiency, and ride. The driest CC I've ever been in hands down.

great boats, great value, great construction, great resale......but the In-Deck Storage Sucks. IMO, it kills it as a viable option.

You think you are a little bias on the Cape Horns. In my opinion the Yellowfin is top notch and then the Cape Horn. The only thing I don't like about the Cape Horn is how low the transom hits you in the legs or should I say shins. The Regulator is descent but I have friends that worked at Regulator and they can tell you some horror stories about what goes on at the plant.

Talking I guess I’m a little bias about Cape Horn Boats

Ok, I guess I’m a little bias about Cape Horn Boats , but I never would “ Trash “ a another fisherman rig on a public website , every boat out there has positive & negative features about them , there “ No” perfect boat that couldn’t be improved on in some way or another . The big Question is do you get your Money worth out of a Brand Name Boat that cost 1/3 more ,than a another boat of equal quality ,performance etc, etc, ?

    31 cape horn

the preformace of the 31 cape horn, stands up to any boat built today, the best I personaly have seen. It has nice storage a ton of rod holders, we chunk with nine rods, no problem we troll with 7 rods2 off the out riggers two in gunnals two flat lined one in the center.. it moves real nice through the water.. take a look at it

    Cape Horn Boats

I have had the chance to get out and sea trail a few of these boats rangeing from 21 ft up to 36 ft and I have to say, they are truly amazing boats for the low price. A Nice ride in any sea and depending on what engines are on the boat, they can really fly. 50 kts +. I currently own a regulator and can easily say that the ride on the cape horn is the same.

All in all , The cape horn is the most bang for the least amount of buck

Exclamation I’m not trying to start a Pissing war between both boat lines

I agree with you that a Yellowfin is Top Notch –never said it wasn’t, it a Hell of a Boat! It as all the Bell’s & Whistles & Ginger Bread, but it also has $$$$$$ price tag ! A Cape Horn is a Bare Bones - " One Tough Superbly Built, Unsinkable Offshore Fishing Boat's" and it might not have all the ginger bread, but also does “NOT “have a $$$$ Price Tag! Side by Side they Both have the same lines! I’m not trying to start a Pissing war between both boat lines; I’m just stating that one boat line cost more than the other and that Both Boats are Offshore Fishing machines! PS – there are boats that I would & wouldn’t take in on Trade; I would take in a Yellowfin trade in a New York minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank You ! Joe

    Thumbs up Cape Horn

Yellowfin is a great boat, there is no disputing that. I have been in the market for a CC, I was just on a sea trial on the 31' Cape Horn. I'll tell you for the money, I am really leaning toward the 31' Cape Horn. It's a gutsy boat, we hit some rough seas and this thing handled great!!!! The preformace of the 31' Cape Horn stands up to any boat built today..
