I delivered a 48 Viking in October of 06' that had a demo G-Series 17" display mounted at the helm. It did not have all the bells and whistles they do now. The screen was huge, Viking had to build the helm smooth and without their normal sunk in glass covered electronics box because the screen would not fit. To the right and left were a total of 3 E-120s of which one was slaved to the G display. If things continue on the current path, pretty soon I think your electronics package is going to cost the same as your boat. Imagine what your helm will look like when someone figures out how to marinize a 50" LCD?
