e120 w/ 600 watt thruhull airmar triducer, b260 I think. seatemp reading 130deg. anyone know if temp sensor is part of the removeable paddle wheel assembly or do I have to remove the whole xducer? thanks for any suggestions.

Got fish
Just to confirm you tried to reset it, change the transducer setting in the DSM (i assume its a DSM 300?)?

Yep, your gonna need stitches
I have the same problem, although my temp is reading higher 186. My transducer is older, b256, and I was told it can not be fixed. It was recomended to add a temp only ducer that will attach via a Y cable to the DSM 300. I was also told that it could be connected via nema cables as well. See my post as I am looking for some recomendations on which one to use. I am in the same boat trying to figure out how to get my sea temp back online.
I also did what njpete suggested with no luck.

Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
The problem in most cases is in the airmar transducer. The temp element takes a dump. It is not the dsm that is the problem. On my friend's boat, we did add the transom mt temp unit and it works like a charm. Check and see how old the transducer is. There is a 2 yr warrantee on it and Raymarine may make good if you have the documentation.
