    Raymarine A-65

Anyone have a Raymarine a65 chartplotter? Like the looks of it and it seems easy enough to use. Anyone give me the good the bad and the ugly on this unit.

    Thanks

I have had mine for over a year. I like it. I did upgrade the antenna to get the WAAS function back since some satellites were decomisioned. Some have serious issues with raymarine not supplying the antenna for free. They do however discount the price. The fishfinder is good, I would like it a little better but that would require a 1kw machine. I like to fish in depts of 1000-2000 ft sometimes, I lose bottom now at 700 ft. The cookie trail is a little weak but once you find the settings it works much better. Would I buy again, yes for the right boat, but I would probably spend a little more and get the C80, which you could upgrade with radar later.
