Radar question/problem

have a Northstar GPS/Radar system, I’ve been trying to use my radar for the past two weeks. When I have it on the entire screen is full of tiny dots, there are boats all around me and I’m not seeing them. I had a guy on board with almost the same system and we cannot figure this out. I’ve tried all the settings, tried manual and auto, tried resetting to factory setting and I am still having trouble with this. Can anyone provide me with any insight on the problem? Thanks

Best bet is to be standing in front of the unit when you call them

I called tech support, thanks. I would need to be in front of the unit though, little hard to do from my office chair

It sounds like your radar may not be transmitting. If you can give us more details our technicians may be able to lead you in the right direction.
