QUESTION REGARDING RAYMARINE A-65

I have noticed the detail of items such as the channel buoys, icons for marina info, icon for tide info and the color variation of depths on the chart display is no longer showing up. I have completed the software upgrade, and have checked the manual...but no luck in finding if something in the settings is "off"...anyone have a suggestion?

Under presentation make sure you select extra detailed. If that does not work, look in the menu under chart setup and see what is turned on.

Thanks...I tried that this weekend and it is on extra detail. I did get hold of raymarine and a very helpful customer service rep. His suggestions where as follows:

1-select the Presentation key from the buttons on the front of unit. Under the "Soft Keys", check to see that "declutter" is in the OFF position...make sure it is.

2- System Reset (I guess there's a reset button somewhere on it)

3- If still doing the same, it would need to go back to them...either nav chip is corrupt, or reader is not operating properly.
