But your radio needs to be able to receive the service.

yes but you will have to call them and add the radio service, buy a signal splitter and a Tuner and a Sirius ready stero. Works on my rig.

can somebody with experience post some more specifics? I also have Navnet and would love to add weather. I would like to know what hardware I need to add. Also, if I am running Navionics (rather than C-map) does that make a difference.
thanks
Jim
It might depend on which Navnet you have. I have the VX2 and Sirius weather only works with C-map. I believe the Navnet 3D works with either.
We switched to C-map last year so we could get the weather. You have to send the unit to Furuno to have it changed to C-map, and then install the weather box and antenna. The service is $30 a month. All in all, definitely a great thing to have on the boat. There were at least two times last year that we were able to avoid some nasty storms because we had the weather on the Navnet.
We are running navnet 3d and have Sirius. Can't comment on the install as we had it installed.
You can add Sirius Weather to your Machine , but you will have to have a software change to use Cmap, and any good electronic shop can do it. Also you will have to get a bathymetric card for the canyons you fish, good picture and switch out your nav card for the fishing card. PITA but it works.
Hope this helps.

thanks guys - not sure if I am ready for the hassle of switching from Navionics to Cmap.
I have to believe that there are more solutions and applications on their way.
I've got Sirius on my Raymarine E80s and I use Navionics.
