My Experience

Had to adjust one on a Cabo that was leaking pretty bad ,not a big deal if the seals are not damaged ,in addittion had a situation on a Tiara were the locking screws that keep the collar in place backed out and fell into the bilge Quick think by another cappy reccomneded that i remove a hose clamp from another line and strap it on the shaft to hold the collar tight enough to make it home ,no bilge alarm just noticed it after shutting down the engines and the Bilge pump was running non stop ..........

I put tides on both of my rigs. The new rig has a double extra replacement lip seals. As far as cost, they offered me a discount for being a charterboat. The tides replaced the Pyi on the new rig.
Tides rudder bearings are the bomb, thoise were expensive even withthe discount, but it was a one time expense.
