I think your question should be how long a test run after da prop comes back from da banacledudes shop.I tell the little woman it take at least ten hours on da water for test!
I like sharp blades for less air bubbles. A nick can cause air to run over that spot, decreasing preformance and making plenty white water off the prop. Air get stuck on nicks and rough edge.
AhiSlayer,
Run the props a good amount of time, but you can usually tell if there is a problem right away. Also its not my shop but Atlantis Propellers who does the reconditioning. I just speed the process up.
As far as repair do not repair your own props. Have them done right, it will save the rest of you gear if your props are true.
Capt Mick is the prop guru - he got mine off that must have been on there for 15 years. Het can you help me to cutlass bearings next time you are in the area?
