I think Admin is going to let me have this space
My Recommendation,
Would be to talk with some one that has a "running" shop. I don't know how "free" they'd be with their info, but I have only one shop that I have dealt with over the last 30 odd year's. They give me 100%, 100% of the time. PM me if you would like their name. As you probably already know, being a shop (of any kind) that give's a customer what he pay's for, is a shop that has the best shot at staying around. JMO, Frank

I've been through at least half a dozon prop shops over the years. Service and quality are to main issues. Some were fast, but not too good. Some were good, but not too fast. You have to be both and it's a highly specialized skill. Nothing like welding really. If you can develop a relationship with a diver, that would certainly help your business. People want one stop shopping and reliability when it comes to props, especially if they charter. You had better be able to turn a set of props around in 24 hours during the busy season. And that's from shaft off to shaft on.
