    Pretty Sweet Update

Nice updates to a 1990 Viking SF. You see a lot of Bertrams updated but not many Viking's...

Financially - Cosmetically speaking, what would you guess this owner dropped into the boat to get it looking like this?

Couldn't come up with a guestimate but it seems like he has narrowed the potential market he is trying to sell to. Do a lot of people want a "sportfish" design with no "sportfish" equipment? If I were interested in that boat I guess I would be quantifying the amount of money that would still need to be put in to the boat to fit my needs as well as what the boat was originally designed for. Pretty boat for sure though and great job on the resto.

needs some serious rigging, although a pretty resto....

still looks like a good deal, if the power is still "fresh"

I used to see alot of defished sportfishers on the great lakes. Old Vikes, old Hats and old Egg Harbors were pretty common. Most were pretty nice but used for cruising, not for fishing. Of course there really isnt alot of need for most sport fishing gear on the big lakes. The outriggers are nice for Walleyes and Lakers, but a fighting chair is really overkill for perch and smallies.
