read the article online yesterday!!! Great news!!!
Maryland needs more talented boatbuilders !
In my opinion, as far as MD boat builders go, it is hard to beat a Judge Yachts!!!!
Yes, Judge Yachts are nice...but, there are many other builders in MD, who, roll out quality products as well. Weaver, Marolina, Carmen, Mathews Brothers, PL Jones, etc...turn out some very nice boats too. Now, I do admit that Judge Yachts turn out more variety than most, IMO, most MD builders fill a "niche", whereas Bill and his guys cover a broader spectrum (22'-42', center consoles, express, sportfish, downeast). Again...I AM NOT bashing Judge Yachts, I do appreciate the workmanship that they put into their boats and speaking with Bill a couple times I was more than impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. But, there are other builders in MD who build boats of equal quality. Just my .02.
Hey Bo and Shane: I'm glad to see Maryland get more into boatbuilding. I wish Post Yachts all the luck in the world. Maybe "someone" should consider bringing Topaz Boats back to Maryland ?? !!
That would be pretty cool Kenny!
