Porpoising issue

Question for all.

Couldnt the lower unit be replaced with a shorter shaft ?
Sell the one you have to make up some of the cost ?
Cheaper than a new motor ?

not an option,the size of the mid section would have to be changed...

Bring it to Jawz and have him add 5" to the transom like this seacraft.

It seems you are at the extremes of that setup.

i wouldn't do that on a bet...that's destined to fail,too much stress...i sure hope that's not your rig ???

Not my rig, mine is still in the stock configuration. I plan on raising the transom 5" eventually one of these years.

What would you suggest?? Take out the entire transom or go from the inside like this?
