jay,
looking good!!!
hopefully you didn't have red in your head saying, "fun time is over, dumb@$$".. that could definitely be a mood killer...
is there a product you use to help identify low spots?

Jay, you know what BC would say about all the rubben...
Looking great...![]()
Lee, I was up in his shop one time, they were sanding on a boat.
BC stops what he was doin and hollers up at someone:
"quit sandin boy, we aint goin to no boat show."
Stew: I often use black spray paint, paint it on and sand it all off, low spots will still be black.
this coat, it is easy to see and you don't need to do this.
back at it today.

she gonna be a looker Jay please keep the pictures coming!
Got in early yesterday, finished fillin with adtech and some sanding.
got blown out today, finished sanding and sprayed 545 on her above the water line.
Got to use my new gun, little bit of a learning curve and a couple pieces of trash in the paint screwed me up, but it is only primer and will get sanded.
Before and after primer pics below.
The owner has decided on Ice Blue for the hull, just ordered it.

Did you start outside? Does this affect the frame work? with changes of temp/humidity I know the plywood is ok as long as it stays dry......
I am really interested in building a small skiff. Where would a beginner find a set of plans for a skiff...
Patience and craftsmanship are great Jay. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to share the process with us. Your youngun' is getting big quick!
