Just started a new build out in the shed.
Kind of a Carolina Flats boat.
21' or so, Gonna be powered by a jet 90, small console. should float in a couple inches of water.
Set this one right side up to line everything up, then flip it to build.

Looks good please keep the pics comeing. Thanks for the info on the kings,we got hit by the yft at the smell wk dont know if it was you i talked to on the vhf last friday about them.
Jay, What are you building it out of? What thickness plywood for sides and bottom? Really looking forward to seeing more pics. My brother and i are in the process of building a duck boat similar to the one you build last year. Only this boat will have a little bit of deadrise in the bow to slice through the chop here on the chesapeake.
don't know yet. probably 1/2 on the bottom double glass, sides are probably going to be two layers to get the bends.
Hull #1 my dads duck boat was 3/8" double 1208 on the bottom single on the sides.

Thanks for the picture of the skiff. What I am looking for is more of a duck boat that is lower to the surface to the water.
this is one I had built out of a bass boat.
