Do we have any updates? Has she been out for her sea trial?

i finally put her in today. everything was done and i just couldnt do it. i forced myself this morning to go launch her. it was kind of weird to trailer a boat and launch her. yes, my feet got wet......backing the trailer down the ramp is new to me. its been twenty years. anyway, finally in i go. and i do a round the channel in cape may. i motor slowly past waynes house, windmill marine, petes lot, a hugh yacht at south jersey, looking for rusty chew, past the lobster house still quiet from a busy night im sure. over to the kidd. hes no where to be found. i shoot back across and the boat stalls in front of canyon club. well finally i get it started again. wt.......#! maybe i just dont know outboards. anyway, its clear, and flat.....i go for it. down the canal.....flying! ive made the right decision.........thru the swing bridge at full speed.......hoping someone will yell at me [slow down] thinking i can beat them and run forever. im ten, and flying like a bird. and then i happens. my brand new, paid in full, e-tec..........blows up! the kidd is on the phone. im at the ferry, out comes the anchor, and i wait for just released34 to bring his whaler and pull me back to the real world. jimmy, thanks. i owe you and i dont care if your at the canyon broken down, ill come get you. but that smile on your face told me something...............did you enjoy this? i mean one guy stopped us and said "wow, theres an old boston whaler pulling a new boston whaler...........and i think you laughed. anyway, its the story of my life, no matter how hard you work sometimes, something is bound to go wrong. work harder. so the short story is.....it blew up! i cant believe it. thanks for asking. ill be back.

My dad gave me the update but I had to hear your story because I knew it would be more interesting. Your marine life definitely has not been too luck. Karen and I have come up with a list of alternative sports that you might want to consider; bowling, the 1600m (again), rollerblading, cycling (in full spandex of course), surf fishing (as no boat is required), sailing (as no motor is required) and if you need to fulfill your need to restore something you could get a 280Z T-top for about $250 on E-bay.
Just laugh it off buddy, it could always be worst.
