Phoenix 32 tournament
I recently posted Blackfin 33 v/s Carolia classic... many thanks for your opinions, much appreciated...
A Phoenix just recently came on the market in my region (west Africa) and of course buying a unit in the region would save me a great deal of trouble... shipping, travel custom duties... I am not convince about the Phoenix 32, you guys have any experiances with this model/make? please give me your opinion, much appreciated... |

Skeg
A few years ago I delivered a gas powered fly bridge model 125 miles It was the convertible model not sure of the length 28-32 From what I remember the vessel was several years old she was a pretty tight, it was relatively dry running in a pending storm sea condition She was no problem maneuvering in tight quarters with the twin screws The quality of the fit and finish was good for a vessel of that value The interior was set up and the quality of the mtl’s used looked god even with age Wish my memory was better Answer this , How far is your typical run for fish and what would be your longest run Good luck with your search

Run
Basically:
For Marlin/Sailfish all year round it's about 35 KN out, for sailfish season (dry season) it's right next door... Sea conditions for Marlin depends on the seasons of course, but we get a pretty good chop... Favorite boats so far (depending if it's project boat or turn key boat) are (not in order): Blackfin 33 convertible, Topaz 37 Express, Carolina Classic 35 and 32 (but not convinced about the 32 since it's quite heavy... ) I am sure you will appreciate getting a boat down to Gabon is not that easy... nobody so far have been able to provide me with a complete a to Z solution on transport... |
