Crikies... I wrote about this months ago. Just so happens though that new pieces gave up the ghost too. This time the plastic itself I guess had a rough go with the grease... or temperature ...

I am going to have to disagree. I have recently purchased a product from Seasense and IMO the Seasense product is far less quality than those made by Perko and its competitors. Perko stuff seems like it is much stronger quality and better made. But, that is just my opinion.

Interesting you mention Seasense in comparison to the much pricier Perko or the mediocre Attwood. It has been my experience that although no product is bullet-proof, the SeaSense product provides more value for the dollar. I had an issue during installation of some LED lights for my trailer. I couldn't understand why one side was brighter than the other -turned out to be the ground wire. The customer service guy was really helpful. I followed his advice and it works great! I always compare warranties when looking for something for the boat and Seasense has a better warranty. For me, I'll keep buying Seasense.

Actually our lenses and bases are brushed aluminum nice custom stuff. Its the wiring, bayonet, and guts that are absolute crap...
