Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
Panel nuts; driving me...
I'm looking for some help here! I have panel nuts on my push button circuit breakers that are corroded to heck. I've been to local hardware stores and all over the web and not having much success finding replacement panel nuts. These nuts are metric; m12x1.75 panel nuts to fit zing ear ze-700 resettable circuit breakers. Any ideas other than replacing the circuit breakers at at much higher cost than just finding what I thought to be an easy task!

Crab mustard is good
Try Fastenal, you may have to buy a bag, but they have or can get you any nuts you need. Put some Dielectric grease on all that stuff to cut down on the corrison.

Anthony's Ark is a blowboater
Thanks for the lead! I did locate a Fastenal darn near in my own back yard that I never knew was there and I had always thought they were mostly a nail/screw manufacturer.
What a surprise! They went to searching right away but no results. However, after driving to several marinas and hardware stores I found "button" covers for the resettable circuits and what do you know, location number 7, score! They fit. So, high on the feeling of success I go home and begin the task of removing the old corroded panel nuts; = 3 broken circuits!
So another trip 20 miles away to replace the 3 circuits and of course the thread pattern is different!
Epoxy does wonders! That's all I can say. Now all the button caps match and all equipment runs! Time to take it for another dip!
