Palmetto CC
What is there to be said about Palmetto boats? I think their 33cc is an awesome boat, but I was wondering what you all thought! How do they hold up over time? What do you think it's comparable to in terms of ride and quality construction? Thanks everyone! Tight lines!

For the money, they're a great value. Sure it's not finished out as nice as some but it's got lots of storage, is VERY deep in the bow and rides very nice. I would compare the ride to a 31' Contender in terms of smooth and dry.
I've had the privilege of fishing on one that is owned by a very good friend of mine (and ran it just this past Thursday) and would say that I would consider buying one when I get to the point where I can afford one. Their boat is called "The Job Site" and is the ice blue color with twin 250 Suzuki's on it (kept in Ocean Isle Beach, NC). It's good on fuel for a boat its size (1.25 nmpg or so) and tops out in the low 40 kt. range. The livewells keep bait very well and the bilge is easy to get in and out of to do maintance. The only complaint I have with the boat are the panel switches. The recessed buttons lead to switch failure very quickly not to mention the red lights that are supposed to come on when the switch is activated burn out very quickly. Overall, it's a very clean boat and I had 3 compliments on it Thursday while giving other boats bait after I caught more than my share. If you are in the market for one and want to ride, we might can arrange something----also, the owner of "The Job Site" has been talking quite seriously about selling it and downsizing to a 27' Contender. We all love the boat but just want to go back to something a little smaller.

My brothers and I owned a 2004 33' Palmetto with 300 HPDI's that we repowered to 250 Suzuki's. We sold the boat last year in order to move up. The Palmetto's are very good riding and extremely dry, they aren't the fastest, but big heavy boats that ride good aren't always fast.
Our boat was extremely customized from the factory. If you have any specific questions, please let me know.
