Paint suggestion aluminum?

I just picked up 5, 16ft riveted lowe john boats. Old ones from 1987 but in good shape. All they need is some paint and marine tex in a few places and they should be good to go. Any suggestions on what to use to paint them? Light sanding, primer and some rustoleum?

For aluminum it is all in the primer. Zinc chromate is the primer you want, toxic stuff but effective. It is now seldom labeled as such on the can, I believe it is in aluminum primers labeled as self etching.
