Osprey
Since most of my offshore fishin comes via 3 other boats.I am thinking of changing up to a 24-28 osprey pilot house.Probably 2003 or newer. And looking for the i/o diesel. Was wondering if anyone had some input on these boats.Beins all I ever done was stand on one I was wondering about preformance. Also towing I would like to be able to take it down to infiltrate you southern boy waters.LOL.Mostly bay and inshore. But also 70mile range if I loose my friends!!!!
Thanks for any input |

a friend of mine fishes a 24 or 25 with a volvo gas engine. he loves it - it is better seakeeping than his 29 whaler. only downside is it is a little slow (23 kt cruise or so). he fishes tuna w/ it east of chatham

I couldn't tell you how a Osprey rides, but there is a ton of them here in Puget Sound and the NW. Very popular here with the pilot house. Also alot of Oceansports which are somehow related to Osprey (I think Ocean Sport owns Osprey). Washington Built.
Good Luck, Tower Todd |
