I have a 2004 Optimax 200 that will not fire. Cranks over plenty fast and tries to fire but doesn’t. I thought may be the batteries got 2 brand new Optima batteries and still nothing. I have seen that some times the Crank Position Sensor goes bad and will not give any warning. When the key is turned over I have not gotten any codes that something would be wrong either....Any ideas. Its’ in at the dealer and have not heard anything yet....

Hi Scott, welcome to SFC...
Scott, you may not get a coad on your smart craft gages. My guess is you either have a sensor going bad or a bad ground inside the motor. Where do you have it being looked at? Shouldn't be a bad fix...
Well just got word back yesterday from the dealer in Smyrna De they told me that the main power that comes from the batteries was lose and caused the realay to short out and melt that plug so the engine was not getting any signle to fire or do anthing....new wiring harness!
