Thats a great deal ,good luck and i know your going to love this unit

The blue charts i think are one of the best in the industry

if you use a laptop ,go to the garmin website and download the Nroute

it will allow you to run live on the PC

great tool if your doing deliveries on vessels with old or no electronics
and you want a bigger viewable screen

just make sure you have your pc strapped down !!! YA don't ask me how i know that tid bit

    Question

I never got mine wet but did leave in my truck in the sun a few times. Maybe the heat got to it?

$130 to get it repaired by Garmin.

I got one in december and have already used to on numerous runs. Still haven't gotten the xm antenna yet but want to at some point. The first time we took it out the main gps unit froze up in fog so we went to the 478...pretty much paid for itself on the first trip . The only thing I don't like is that their software doesn't support Apple computers .

    WEATHER ANYTIME ALL THE TIME

I have had the Garmin 376C with the XW weather & radio add-on.
    AWESOME!
It is the only way to go to the canyon or in my opinion anywhere fishing. It has saved many a trip...being able to see that something is coming or that something is only a small cell and by running 10-miles out of its path you can stay and fish or that a cell will be passing through and its small in size with no lightning in it or its a monster with lightning all over and its bearing down on you so its time to run for the barn... In the picture below, we were 80-NM offshore tuna fishing and I was able to in real time watch the storm, it's track and knew it was tracking to the northeast, This left me with comfort that we were fine and could stay on the grounds fishing...but you can see it showed there was lightning in the south corner of the storm. It also doesn't take up much space and is my 4th GPS for backup on the backup.
