    Older Contender fuel question

We are about to acquire (hopefully) an older Contender 25. I have a pretty extensive trip planned for the boat right off the bat. I am trying to understand how the fuel system is set up, and I have never seen the boat. The owner is pretty busy with his own business, and I thought I would ask here if anyone knows how these boats were plumbed.

I know the boat has a 180 gallon fuel capacity. I have seen a photo of the fuel seperator on it, and it appears there are two fuel lines coming in, and one going out. So I am thinking this boat has two fuel tanks. Does anyone know how these were set up at the factory? For example, do both tanks feed continuously? Is there a fuel tank selector valve, or individual on/off valves for each tank?

How would the fuel gauge sender be set up? One sender in one tank? two senders with a switch?

    Any info greatly appreciated.

if you see selector vavles on the fuel seperators, the boat has the "wing tanks",this ups the fuel to 235-240...it will have seperate guages for these tanks, and the main tank is read on the yamaha guage...the valves to select the tanks, these are above the seperators...pretty simple stuff...
there's gonna be 3 fuel fills as well, one for each of the tanks...

most likely 2 tanks both should go to each motor.... there should be yellow handled ball valves may or may not be labled. only run one open on each side at a time. (if both are open and one tank is empty you may suck in air.)

Fuel guage would be set up with 2 bars on it one for on tank one for the other.

My rig has 3 tanks ( star saddle port saddle and center..)
each motor has (2) fuel valves one is center one is port. starbord motor has str and center. motors can not run on oppisate saddles. my guage also has a switch to select wich tank i am lookin at.

If you have any questions let me know

Thanks for the help. These descriptions are still not quite what I think this particular boat has. There are two fuel lines coming into what looks like either an enclosed filter mounted to the bulkhead, or it could be a separator. But two fuel lines coming in, and one coming out.

The boat has one outboard, not two.

    Does that help?

I had asked her some questions before, and I think she is totally up to speed on the newer ones. But this one is probably about as old as she is...

Not sure. I've never seen it in person. Hard to tell from the photos.
