Ocean City Fishing Center Boat Info

    http://www.yachtauctions.com/listing.php?vessel=6112

Anybody have any info on this boat? From the pics, it looks like it is located at the Ocean City Fishing Center? Anyone ever seen it in person? Do the pictures do it justice?

There is no name on the boat. I wonder what the story is - looks like a nice rig for under 200k?

Never stepped on board a Luhrs, so, I do not have room to talk. But I have heard some nasty things about the boat. Needless to say, you get what you pay for. Cruising at 22kts does not sound real appealing to me.. and spanning a length of only 36 feet, it probably would not ride all that good in some slop.

I dont know if you are asking for opinions on if you should buy this boat, but, if I had $200k to spend on a boat...

    40 Luhrs

I shrink wrapped this boat last fall. Yes it's at the fishing center. Overall it's in good shape. Needs some work- the back curtains are ripped out of the track and the curtain on the port back side is cracked. The running gear is full or barnacles but bottom paint looks good. The gel coat is in good shape defiantly need some wax. The mechanic who winterized the boat said the engine room is spotless. I can't speak for the interior. It has a Raymarine plotter and radar not shore on a plotter. I have run a 40 Luhrs with the Yanmars before. It ran a lot better then the one i ran with 3126 Cats. I think we cruised at 24knots. They are what i call a price point boat. You get a lot of boat for the money. No they are not the quality of a Viking but overall they hold up well. If you need any help with a possible purchase I have handle sales of repo boats. Give me a call Jeremy Alliance Marine Group 410-507-4150. I live in OC

Check around the struts and rudders if you proceed, there's one in the yard now with

    serious de-lamination.
