what would be the best performing boat? plan to use in saltwater, wreckfishing and occassional runs up to 50 miles off the beach.

25 bertram...nice set up,but,it's gonna have a fiberglass fuel tank...

north coast 24,twin small block gm engines...heavy,easily manuvered,good ride...

sea craft-savage,that's the model with the cuddy up forward,right ??

me,i would chose the sea craft,based upon 2 things,first,i run a 23 potter built,and second,it's a single engine,small block gm,it's gonna be great on fuel...the sea craft's are a tried and true old school rig...

I have 3, 25ft. Bertrams and all have been changed to an aluminum fuel tank by the previous owners. My point is that most of them out there have already been swapped out.

Now, in my opinion the 25Bertram is by far the best choice of the 3 boats. Twin IO's are very efficient. The 10ft. beam allows you to fish this boat like a 30 footer. A cabin for storage and overnighters. And fiberglass stringers.

rig it up right and then you have room and a good sea boat.

there are 2800 28' berts alone that have fiberglass tanks..

sunshine marine tanks in miami will give you piece of mind on any tank you need for any boat though..
