New to the sport fishing hobbie!! But LOVE it!!

I am looking for a great starter boat for in-shore and off-shore fishing. I have friends who have some boats but do not like them. I would like something that I could fish on but at the same time have my family able to use the boat ( wife & son ). Any help would be great!! Also any slip information from DE, to MD would be awsome. I am looking at anything in the 24 ft to 28 ft range but not stuck there.

I have a family of five and lets face it can a family really sleep in a cuddy? I went with a Center console (CC) and love it. High sides for the kids, room to walk arround, (gets boring for kids if they cant move arround) and room to fish. Other then the problems I'm having with my outboard, I love the boat. Fishing, Sking, Tubing, Its all there. With a low budget to boot. 21ft CC starcraft Evinrude 120Hp. with trailer, 2200.00. Good Luck !

Welcome Goose to SFC. JBQ has strong points to think about. Question. Are you trailering? I have a center c and use all the space it provides. We like the openness. The walk around are nice but cramped IMO for fishing. It is a trade off for what You enjoy on the water. If not trailering you can have a wider boat in a cuddy style with more room for the family. Myself I like the room for fishing on this style or boat

once you figure what you want. try to get a trip or to on it. or the same boat, to make sure you like it..thats the best way to find out if you really like
