Capt Troy, could this boat be built by John Bayliss? I have never seen a Spencer with those lines but Paul is super forward in his thinking...
I don't know how I really feel about these huge towers on many of the new sportfishers..I mean, do you really need to be that high up? It's one thing on an express boat, but on a flybridge, you're already elevated a good ways..also, I can count on one hand the times I've ever seen someone in the tower. Maybe it's more of a northern, canyon, tuna fishing thing?? A lot more surface area to clean when you get back to the dock too. You're gonna run a few knots faster too I would imagine without all that added weight. Gorgeous boat nontheless.
Gorgeous boat
Looks like a Bayliss to me ... window shape and bridge/house very Bayliss .. either way, Bayliss or Spencer cant go wrong .. both beautiful rides

i think bob's de's boat their is a bayliss
That is the old Southpaw. A 62 Bayliss. She was finished about 4 or 5 years ago. The new Southpaw is a 57 spencer and IPS powered. It has a gray hull and was finished in early summer, it had 57 hybrid on the stern and fished in St. Thomas all summer.

I would enjoy seeing both profile and cockpit photos of this latest built Spencer 57 boat
