    I love cold molded boats...

    And everything they stand for and represent, BUT, every boat serves a purpose my friend.

    And for certain purposes, I still think a fiberglass boat is better....For example, i'd still rather have a fiberglass boat for northeast/freezing situations...I'll say it again, every boat serves a purpose.

    Cold molding is a boat building method in which layers of wood are bonded with glue to form a solid structure.

    These days that usually means strips of plywood are layered over a form at an angle. the second layer is 45 or 90 degrees to the first, and epoxy is used to bond the layers.
