    New Exhaust

While recently repowering, I was aked to consider using a new type of exhaust.

The boat is an inboard with the exhaust going out through the stern. The new exhaust is like a cone pointing inward from the stern.

Does anybody know what this is? Any experience?

A surge tube is exactly what it is. But, what about back pressure? It looks like to me it would create more back pressure.

Show us a pic. Doesn't sound like a surge tube to me if the cone is at the transom opening? Give some more info and pics!
