New Center Console Innovation for fishing not sailing.

I have seen these produce in the non telescoping versions so if it does not fail under stress? Whoopie. Because I will be the first. I have put a lot of strain on it so far and seems OK?? I hope. Also I am prototyping a swing out carbon fiber out rigger deployment system. My first also I believe. The T top support tubes and some of the T Top is also of carbon fiber and some other cores that I tried first. Yes very light and stiff. The T top with radar box was less then 50lb.

You are an innovator with mad skills! I love what you did with the Formula. I've said it before, you should pop a mold off that boat.

Can't wait to see a video of that stick in action.

    Bligh,

It's nice to see someone with a center rigger just abit taller than mine! I have often wondered why guy's have a slanting back (almost flat) center rigger. I want height!!! I will say that I am different than most, I do like the gunnel mounted rigger's on a center console. I like the added width and the angle myself. Is there a carbon fiber set for gunnel mounting, not necessary to be telescopic? Frank

Thanks all. I wish I could finish this boat. Just got in from an overnighter. Fresh sword again. and yellowfin.

Yes it is a bit rough { not the flat ocean conditions tho}over nighting in the canyon in a 34 sea vee CC in mid october. Especially after so many years in much bigger diesel SF FB boats. With salons and all the creature comforts. So we left the dock at 3.45 in the afternoon and had the lines in trolling in less then 2 hrs. gave up trolling fast and had a keeper sword in the boat and a couple jigged on spinning rods YF tuna in a few hrs. Then we blasted home in the morning. Not too fast. I am 59 and my friend is a few years older, so we ran mostly in the upper 40 MPH speeds even tho the boat can hit into the 60s. This is why I am spending so much thought on My CC. I enjoy the fishing so much more even with out the creature comforts. We wash the boat and run it our selves with No professional crew needed. We almost left the dock with only 3 but I shanghied a friend of my sons who never got a chance to step on dry land from the night befores trip he was on. JBG I have No inclination to pop a mold off my boat and be in the boat business. I have told Bo more then once that the smaller the fiberglass job I do the more money I possibly make. If I dont have too high of expectations$? On the carbon fiber gunnel outriggers. Very easy. Especially the curved tubing mount look that so many think cant be done. Also the non retractable carbon fiber rigger will be so strong light and stiff you will never want corroding heavy aluminum again. You do know it aint a center rigger I hope?
