NEW CANNON DIGI-TROLL 10 TS DOWNRIGGERS ARE… AWESOME!!

I hope everyone is well and getting ready for an exciting 2011 season. I just got two of the new Cannon Digi-Troll 10 TS downriggers, and wanted to let you know that if you and your team are in the market for the best downrigger you’ve ever seen, you don’t have to look any further.

We had the opportunity to use this unit toward the end of last year, and it is amazing!! In addition to the automatic up and down features, that can also be set for up to five preset depths, the drop and raise can be set at for varying speeds as well.

Since the positive ion control isn’t necessary for this unit, the automatic up feature can be used with braid and mono, as well as the standard cable that the unit comes equipped with.

The ability to set the downrigger bait, push a button for the desired depth, and begin setting your other lines, while that one stops at the precise depth, is invaluable. The Auto-Up feature is fantastic while clearing lines when a king strikes. Being able to push the “UP” button on the LED screen certainly expedites getting lines in.

The units come with: All necessary power cords, mounting system (although a great looking stainless system is available), wire cable and terminator system and release clips. There are also numerous accessories available for customizing your units.
