Smile Need to run a vhf on 110v

I want to install a vhf radio in my house so I can communicate when out fishing. I am an electronics idiot and need to know what is needed to use a 110 outlet for the electrical connection to the radio.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I live on a very small island in the southwestern Caribbean.

All you need is a 12VDC power supply. It will plug into your 110VAC outlet and convert the AC to 12VDC. Readily available and not very expensive.
