    Need Help waypoint management software

Hi guys, I was wondering what you might be using to manage your waypoints. I have a Northstar 6000i and a Raymarine E80 on the boat. Here is what I would like to accomplish. I would like a program that I can upload the waypoints into my PC at home tweek them, add some and delete some, if it has charting and bathymetrics it would be a bonus.File transfer throught the cf card rather than a cable would be prefered. I thought I had found everything that I have mentioned in a program called Andren. I have had it since Saturday, what a pain in the ass it has been. I am no slouch when it comes to computers , but let me tell ya this thing sucks so far. The instructions are poorly written and when I got the owner on the phone it sounded as though he was not 100 % on how his program works. So help me out here if you can, PLEASE !

The Raymarine unit is no sweat. Go to raymarine.com and download the Raytech planner. It is free. It allows you to work with the waypoints and then load them on a CF card, and download them to the unit. Navionics has a good program that you can buy as well. It includes a card reader along with the program.

I'll check out the raymarine thing thanks. I did a quick search on the navplanner and saw that in 2006 when it came out about 4 pages of complaints on "thehulltruth". Some very similar to the complaints I have about mine. Do you know if they have done any major changes to it since it first came out?
    Thanks

I also use the Raytech planner and I have so many way-points that all when I open it up all I see is black x's. The best thing about the planner besides transferring waypoints back and forth is you can name them in your spare time and you can plan routes ahead of time. You will spend lots of time on your PC which will save you time on the water.
    good luck with it.
